yes the sun has shone more this April than most of last summer I would think.

today is another glorious day and I have been at the Country Market on the harbour this morning.

Unfortunately I didn't sell a thing!!!

I am on another computer at the mo and don't have any of my photos here to put on todays blog.
Promise I will catch up ASAP

another hat with flowers

A couple of weeks ago I sent for some yarn from Kemps Wools. Amongst other things I bought some Patons Eco Cotton. It was reduced in price. I've never seen or heard of it before but I must say it is lovely to work with. Very soft. I knittedf this little hat with it over the weekend and out the crochet flowers on this aternoon.

Unfortunately Chelsey wasn't here to model it!!
I will put it on my stall at the country market on the harbour on Thursday.
Unfortunately the photo doesn't do it justice. It is a really pretty mint green

yes, as I've said on my other blog, I've made my very first sale on folksy !!! I am so pleased that I have stuck with  this hard learning curve 'cos maybe, just maybe it is starting to pay off!!!

It is so good for me to find that people are taking an interest in me and encouraging me to have a go at something completely new at this stage of my life!!! I don't mean knitting,crochet,quilting etc etc !!!

It is all a new addiction for me , I don't know whether to knit,crochet,sew, or surf all those lovely blogs I'm finding. At least I don't get the chance to get bored.

I can't remember what I did before I had the internet to occupy me.

I know when I bought my first PC. It was 13 years ago and I moved here to Wales from London. I didn't know a soul here and thought the internet would be company. those were the days before broadband so all the time I was on the PC, the phone line was busy!! And talk about slowwwww.........

Same time I got a mobile phone and these days I would be completely lost without that!!!

What changes have taken place in my lifetime....aren't I lucky to have witnessed them.....
Now I'm really going on and on and on and on.................STOP already!!!

craft market

yesterday I signed up for a table at the local Country Market on the harbour in the local village.
I hope to sell lots of my crochet flowers,coasters,corsages,headbands etc etc.We shall see!!

this is a bad photo of the latest headband I made by hand last week. It is very pretty and she will wear it for the party after the church service for her Christening.Lots of little rosebud flowers sewn on to lace with elastic at the back.

crochet flowers

I have just started this blog page to show off my crochet and knitted flowers. With all the other crochet stuff I make, the flowers seem to get buried a bit, so this is their showcase.Here are some of the latest ones. 
Today I signed up for the local craft market on the harbour. It is held every thurs morning. With it soon being the holiday season I hope it will get busy. We shall see!! I start next thurs so I will have to get my crochet hook out and make a lot more flowers etc.
